The BBS computer (Commodore 128D) was equipped with a SuperCPU V2 (20MHz accelerator card), TURBO232 (230,400 bps I/O card [ RS232 ]), RAM-LINK with 16 MByte (a back-up battery memory expansion) , CMD- fixed disk HD40 with 530 Mbyte, 5.25 " floppy disk drive (320 kByte), 3, 5 " floppy disk drive (720 kByte) as well as a terminal adapter ELSA MicroLink ISDN/TL V.34

The OMNI echo Net was an union of several mailboxes from around the globe. At these days, corresponding nodes existed in Germany, in the USA, and in Australia. The message packages are exchanged either over Internet or exchanged over direct dial-ups over the regular telephone network. The official language of the echo-net was English.
The read/write (reading, posting and responding) access was free of charge.
