Don't know how sophisticated you wanted to get. You might try to find
this one locally:

ABOOKH2.SDN Amazing Bookkeeper v H.2 [DOS] Track personal or business
finances Includes Drew's Amortization System Easy-to-use bookkeeping system
that will help you track your personal or business finances. Reports include
Balance Individual Account, Trial Balance, Profit and Loss Statement (income
statement), Balance Sheet, and List of Transactions. The registered version
brings you the ability to perform customized reports and departmentalization,
as well as integration with our Amazing Cash Register system. Reg $95 January
1994 from Dennis Drew

SMITH3.ZIP Money Smith (TM) v 3.0 [Win] <ASP> Real time accounting. Features

investment tracker. Graphical toolbar, hot spots, interactive help make it easy
to use. Includes budgeting, historical graphs, memorized transactions, docs,

As well, there are numerous 'check register' like programs that also allow
for budget analysis. Or, you could try one of the many database
programs...some ease financial tracking.

     Hope this helps.
