Mr. Smith is so far into the Right Wing he could probably be used as a landmark for Moderates who're a little unsure where they stand on their political footing. His angry letters (which are well-written) are strong on patriotism, guns, and not getting screwed by the government. Refreshing attacks on namby-pambiness.
