Otaku-Boy!

"For a short period of time, I produced an ASCII newsletter that I released to Usenet and Email subscribers. It was called OtakuVidiot Online and covered videogame websites in a blog-like style, way before they were such a thing. (I don't claim to have invented anything, it just occurs to me that it was very much like that.)

"Anyway, I recently found ALL of the issues and they are sure to get erased if I don't preserve them somehow. You're the first one that came up. Heck, you're the ONLY one that came up. Looking over these, there was a lot of work that went into them, but I got Tuberculosis shortly after starting it and since I didn't make any money from it, it became apparent that I needed to go back to a full-time job. I couldn't continue it. Also, a lot of people wanted me to do it as a website. Today, that would be easily done with all the blogging software out there, but, at the time, all I had was NetObjects Fusion. It was PAINFUL to do this on the web, and since my only model for successful e-zines at the time was Lockergnome, which was EXTREMELY successful at the time, I thought I NEVER had a shot. Ah, self-esteem.
